Boracay has been known to be one of the top beach destinations in the world and I had a lot of expectations in this place. Althought it is beautiful, going over NYE is not the best idea if you are looking to have a beach to yourself. The island itself is pretty small and its essentially sectioned into 3 areas from Station 1 to Station 3. Where Station 1 is populated by top tier hotels, Station 2 is where all the action is at. At Station 3 you will find more local hangs and restaurants. There are to be honestly not a lot of things to do a part from walking around and some island hopping/snorkeling. However it had enough to keep me entertained for 4 days.
The beach was beacutiful but I must say its not too different to other beaches in Thailand. We are honestly so spoilt with the amount of beautiful beaches in Asia.

Accommodation
Boracay was insanely busy because of NYE and almost all the hotels are booked up. We wanted to get away from the crowd so we opted to stay in a newer area 15 mins Tuk Tuk away from the main beach. The room was supbar to be honest but it was reflected on the price point, however the hotel does have a private beach which is a bonus. The hotel is in a massive development complex so there are some shops for your basic needs.
I walked around the beach area and by the time your get to Discovery Hotel the beach is already pretty quiet so it is perfectly adaquet if you want somewhere chill.
Transportation
Between Station 1-3 everything is walkable and Tuk Tuk is the preferred mode of transport. However getting to Boracay itself is tricky. Currently there is no direct flight to Boracay so the best flight with the shortest travel time I found was with Cebu Pacific. I had heard a lot of bad things about airlines in the Phillippines but to be honest I had no issue on my trip. Once you arrived at Godofredo P. Ramos Airport you will need to find a transfer to the pier and take a boat over. If you are lazy like me you can just prebook an all inclsuive transit who arranges everything and take you to the hotel. I basically chartered the boat to myself.
Sightseeing
Boracay holds a premier reputation as a top-tier global beach destination, consistently ranked for its powdery White Beach, azure waters, and vibrant nightlife. Following rehabilitation, it is recognized for improved cleanliness and sustainability. It is widely considered a safe, picturesque, and "must-visit" island paradise in the Philippines.
Station 1
The most quiet of all 3 stations as its populated by highend hotels and there restaurants. There is not much to see there to be honest but famous rocks such as the Willy's Rock and the Mushroom Rock.
Station 2
Parallel to the beach there are more shops and cafe in this section.
Station 3
More local of the 3 stations. The photos are nice the shops along the beach are a bit more old.
Restaurants / Bars
Percy Seafood
A Seafood galore. Great view over the ocean and the crab is doable even if I was by myself. The oyster was fresh but I prefer them ice cold normally. These are served at room temperature...
Smooth Boracay - Cafe, Restaurant & Lounge
This cafe is a perfect spot for sundowners. Chill lounge Vibe with live performances. This is where we spent our NYE. Upstairs is fully air-conditioned and downstair is al-fresco.
Boracay Beach Truck
A very toursity looking Food Truck/Resturant but the food is not too bad if you just want someting quick. No toilet.
Two Brown Boys
We only had a drink here but I believe they are famous for their American grub. Music is also very tempermetal but its a cute place to hang.
Subo Boracay
Quite famous amongst the locals I believe and there were a lot of foreign philippinos so I assume the food can't be bad. However I don't think I order correctly though. Worth coming if you have a big group.
Mai Tai Beach Bar Boracay
A dive bar with latin music. Seems like a good vibe but you do have to be in the mood for it.
Sip Happens Wine Bar and Brewery
A more sophisticated wine bar next in Station 2. We never went it but I wish we had time.
Vhub Dampa Seafood
This is a food court recommended to us by the local bar staff at Two Brown Boys. They say this is where all the local goes after work. Note this place is only open from late afternoon.

Haraan Boracay
Honestly I only came for one thing which is their famous Crispy Sisig. So delicious and evil at the same time.
Jollibee
No explaination needed but please note it does get busy and the wait could be long.
